A Hurricane is defined as a tropical storm with winds that have reached a constant speed of 74 miles per hour or more. Hurricanes can be very destructive. They have the potential to cause damage to infrastructure, utilities, buildings, vegetation and even loss of life.. Officially, the Hurricane Season stretches from June 1st through to November 30th. This period is usually a dreaded one for most Jamaicans.

One of our primary objectives at Safety & Emergency Management Systems is to increase the safety awareness of individuals, and as such, we have designed a comprehensive training programme geared to provide information, enrich knowledge and enhance skills & abilities. Safety Audit

Safety Audits Safety Audits, conducted by meticulous safety practitioners, allow management to get a true picture of the organization's compliance with national and international occupational safety & health standards. On completion of an audit, detailed findings and recommendations are provided in printed and electronic form. The management of Safety & Emergency Management Systems makes itself available to provide additional oral reports.

The company also has the capacity to take "recommendations" through to implementation.
